The State Duma demanded that Medvedev’s ministers be sent to Siberia
Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev's references to difficult times and a lack of money in the treasury do not stand up to criticism, since the lack of funds can be compensated as part of the fight against the shadow economy, which has acquired gigantic proportions in Russia.
Deputy Oleg Nilov from A Just Russia stated this at a meeting of the State Duma.

As an example, he cited answers from government officials, according to which official revenues to the Russian budget from the forestry industry amount to 30-35 billion rubles per year.
“This is less than the industry's revenue in Finland! This is a verdict, one might say, on the entire industry and all members of the government,” Nilov said.
According to him, the situation is similar with income from the fishing industry - for example, for 9 months of 2016, it provided budget revenues of only 15 billion rubles.
“This is less than the income from Platon, less than the Moscow transport tax. Entire industries of the richest country in the world! Yes, difficult times - when were they easy? But this is the richest country in the world!” – Nilov was indignant.
According to him, the figures for the “black economy” are even more shocking. Thus, the volume of illegal timber extraction in Russia is estimated at 119 billion rubles, hunting resources – 36 billion, gold – 26 billion.
“A parliamentary investigation must be carried out immediately and responsible leaders must be sent not with applause, but on foot to Siberia! To return trillions of rubles to the treasury!” - said Nilov.
“Billions of black cash. Where do they come from, in pockets, in rooms, in tons, roaming around Russia?! Isn’t it the government’s merit that entire KamAZ trucks and wagons of black cash are moving around the country?” – the deputy added.
