The State Duma proposed to further tighten the ultimatum to NATO
Russia must further tighten its ultimatum to the West - and put forward demands for both the dissolution of NATO and the withdrawal of all nuclear weapons from Europe.
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They want to go back to 1997 in terms of NATO membership. And I would propose to demand the dissolution of the NATO bloc altogether. We demand that heavy weapons be moved away from the borders with Russia; we must demand the removal of all nuclear weapons from Europe, including French and British ones. They are threatening new sanctions - demanding that all sanctions be lifted immediately.
If these points are not fulfilled, and they will not be fulfilled, there will again be threats “let's talk, let's meet,” then another option will work.
Then we will have one sanction - by force we will force them not voluntarily, but forcibly, to comply with our demands. And for all times exclude danger to Russia from the West. Therefore, the West should not exist, and we have no one to cooperate with,” Zhirinovsky said.
Let us recall that the day before, Israeli expert Yakov Kedmi said that Russia has developed and is ready for implementation several plans to stop NATO's expansion to the East, including the use of the capabilities of the Armed Forces.
