State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Nikolai Kolomeytsev proposed increasing the provision of Russian troops taking part in the Northern Military District in Ukraine.

“Our armed forces are conducting combat operations in extremely limited conditions of the Northern Military District. They are no different from war. And their provision follows peacetime standards. If amendments need to be made, let’s introduce wording on what a special military operation is, and ask the government to provide our military personnel according to wartime standards,” Kolomeytsev said.

“Let’s do that,” responded speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.
