“The Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held in Kyiv, the mother of Russian cities. Never before has Eurovision started on May 9th. This singing show can turn into a coven. Unfortunately, Russia again agreed to participate,” Nilov said in parliament today.

The deputy believes that singer Alexander Panayotov, who is expected to represent Russia at Eurovision in Kyiv, “is not very courageous and sweet-voiced.”

“My proposal - God bless Joseph Davydovich (Kobzon - ed.) - is to send him and Alexandrov’s choir to Kyiv on May 9. And if they are refused, let’s take appropriate measures,” Nilov said.
