Kyiv, March 24 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – If the United States begins supplying lethal weapons to Ukraine, Russia should officially send its troops to Donbass to protect compatriots.
Deputy Mikhail Emelyanov, deputy chairman of the “A Just Russia” faction, stated this at a meeting of the State Duma.

“If the United States really starts supplying lethal weapons to Ukraine, we should not hesitate to start supporting the militias, including with weapons, and return to the President the right to send troops into the territory of Ukraine,” the party’s official website quotes the parliamentarian as saying.
“The United States is trying to arm Ukraine at any cost, because in its geopolitical plans, Ukraine is the restraining state towards Russia that the United States needs to prevent Russia from developing into a new superpower,” Yemelyanov believes.
