The State Duma called on Russians to ignore Turkey
In connection with the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the world, it is more advisable for Russian citizens to stay on vacation in their country this summer - Crimea, Krasnodar Territory or other regions.
Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science Gennady Onishchenko stated this during a press conference in Moscow, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We need to make holes not only for schoolchildren, but also for all the people who will go on vacation. I insist that we forget about Turkey, there is no need to do this. We have our own Crimea, the Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar Territory, Abkhazia, which is a state recognized by our country, and is quite well controlled from the point of view of the epidemiological situation and is quite suitable for recreation, a million people vacation there, there is a great price attractiveness there.
Of course, it doesn’t have to be the sea; we have a large group of people who, for medical reasons, are not advised to go to the sea. Relax in your climate zone,” Onishchenko said.
