The State Duma asks Donbass militias to “hold out until November”

“In Ukraine, as a result of the economic and social policy that was imposed on its leadership, a situation has arisen where we can say firmly that Novorossiya needs to hold out until November,” he said.

“In November, Ukraine will experience absolute economic and social collapse. Ukraine has already adopted a plan for what it will do in the fall. This is the curtailment of social guarantees, this is a sharp reduction in the number of public sector employees, the curtailment of pensions. The Ukrainian economy, which was integrated with the Russian one, is dying. The unrest that is currently taking place in Ukraine is anti-war in nature. In the fall they will become social,” says Isaev.

According to the deputy, Ukraine is already moving towards starting negotiations with the rebels in Donbass.

“Any war ends when the parties sit down at the negotiating table. This conflict will end when Poroshenko sits down at the negotiating table not with Zurabov, but with the militias. And he is already moving towards this - if earlier Poroshenko did not call the militias anything other than terrorists, now he is already saying that he tried to get through to the leadership of the militia in order to resolve some issues with them. Corresponding stuffing is already appearing,” says Isaev.

“If the militia, with the moral, humanitarian and other support of Russia, continues to hold out, then in November the junta will be forced to negotiate,” says the parliamentarian.
