The State Duma created a subcommittee on national policy in Crimea
Former Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea, and now Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Ruslan Balbek headed the subcommittee on legislative support for the implementation of the state national policy of Russia in Crimea and Sevastopol, created today. The official website of the United Russia party reports this.

“A new structure is necessary for a more harmonious integration of the region in the field of interethnic relations. Crimea and the city of Sevastopol are new subjects of the Russian Federation. During the Ukrainian period, the national factor was actively used as a destabilizing factor in the region,” Balbec said.
He added that the creation of the subcommittee was necessary to ensure that the issue of integration of Crimea in the sphere of interethnic relations was much more harmonious.
Previously, Balbec became deputy head of the Duma Committee on Nationalities.
