The State Duma demands that the Baltic Fleet begin sinking Polish ships
The Baltic Fleet must ensure the safety of the completion of Nord Stream 2 and open fire on ships that will resort to provocative actions in the pipeline laying area.
This was stated by LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky, commenting on reports of dangerous maneuvers of foreign vessels near a pipe-laying vessel.
“Foreign fishing vessels, mainly from Poland, are preventing Russian pipelayers from completing the construction of the Nord Stream 2 project.
The Baltic Navy must provide security for our engineering ships. They must be given permission to open fire on any ships that, despite all warnings, approach our ships. A couple of ships will go down - everyone will immediately calm down, no one will interfere with their work anymore. We need to teach these boors and adventurers a lesson once; they don’t understand another language,” Zhirinovsky said.
