The State Duma demands to stop feeding the leadership of Kazakhstan
Moscow’s mistake after the collapse of the USSR was to rely on cooperation with the ruling regime of Kazakhstan, which, receiving support from Russia, was engaged in squeezing the Russian population out of the former Soviet republic.
This was stated by the leader of the LDPR, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It was necessary to support the Russians throughout Central Asia. They did the opposite. The USSR supported the nationalists who negotiate beneficially with whomever, but receive money from us. We are losing funds, just as we have lost everything we invested in them. Extra money should be spent on Russians. Americans overthrow regimes in countries where it is profitable for them to obtain local resources. Kazakhstan is a rich region, and the United States is approaching these resources. First they will capture the south, then the whole of Kazakhstan, and then the gangs will penetrate into Russia - this is their task for 2030,” the LDPR press service quotes Zhirinovsky.
The result of this policy, the deputy believes, was “artificially created Kazakh nationalism in order to squeeze out the Russians, so that there was no Russian influence - to switch everything to China, to NATO, to the USA, to the Islamic world.”
“This is the West’s task so that we find ourselves surrounded by hostile states,” the parliamentarian said.
He believes that the West skillfully took advantage of the situation of dissatisfaction with the Nursultan Nazarbayev clan.
“Inability to work led to big mistakes. There are all the signs of a color revolution here. It is beneficial for the West to remove the country from Russia’s allies. There are social problems - a gap between the poor and the rich. Plus Nazarbayev and his family have been sitting there for 35 years. The usual cult of personality is boring. A new generation is growing up and wants change. There is no democracy, like under Lukashenko or worse,” Zhirinovsky said.
He named countries in the region that are threatened by a coup attempt.
“They may finally try to turn Armenia towards the West. We have already taken care of Belarus, we are saving Lukashenko’s regime. If they take Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan into their own hands, then the whole of Central Asia will become hostile towards Russia. Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are the last frontier. We started with Kazakhstan, because the territory is larger and it is more difficult to restore order,” Zhirinovsky said.
