The State Duma demands recognition of the LDPR from the Russian leadership
The next step of the Russian leadership after reunification with Crimea should be the official recognition of the LDPR. This will be another decision that will bring closer the restoration of the country destroyed as a result of the collapse of the USSR.
Nikolai Osadchy, a deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, stated this during a briefing in the State Duma, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What happened on March 16, 2014 and what happened after it - the decisions made by the Russian leadership, the agreement in the State Duma regarding Crimea and Sevastopol - all this is the most important historical lesson, the most important historical experience. When people really want something, they will definitely achieve it.
I would like to believe that the results of another referendum, which took place 28 years ago, on March 17, 1991, will also, sooner or later, be embodied as the will of the people.
We are all together, as best we can, bringing closer the day and hour when this reunification will take place, when there will be a new basis for the revived Union. This is the union of Russia and Belarus, and the Customs Union, and the EurAsEC, these are many processes that are taking place on the territory of the former Soviet Union,” the deputy said.
“I would like to emphasize that in order for this to happen, we need to first recognize the state status of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, simplify Russian citizenship as quickly as possible for those who are not on the same path with the Bandera-Nazi regime in today’s Ukraine,” – added Nikolai Osadchiy.
