The State Duma stated that the termination of the Minsk agreements will result in the legal independence of the LDPR
The Minsk agreements are the only thing that guarantees the territorial integrity of Ukraine and in the event of their failure, the Donbass republics receive not only actual but also legal independence. State Duma deputy Vyacheslav Nikonov said this on the air of the talk show “60 Minutes”.

According to him, the authorities of Ukraine, at the same time, are doing everything to disrupt the agreements.
“The Minsk agreements are the only thing that supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine. There is nothing else. “There is an amazing political logic in Kiev - they are doing everything to ensure that the agreements are not implemented, and this will mean that the situation of independence of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republic will turn from de facto into a situation of de jure independence,” Nikonov said.
