According to Ilyenko, during the first week of its release, “Cyborgs” collected more box office receipts than other films released simultaneously.
“During the first weekend, the military drama “Cyborgs” collected 8 million 186 thousand 701 UAH, overtaking “Dunkirk” (7 million 919 thousand 845 UAH) and “Fury” (5 million 387 thousand 648 UAH).
The film was watched by 106 thousand 350 spectators. This film is very relevant now, and I am glad that our audience appreciated it so highly. For me, this result is the audience’s assessment of Goskino’s work,” said Ilyenko.
The film's producer, Ivanna Dyadiura, said that more than half a million UAH from box office receipts will be transferred to help the Ukrainian armed forces.
“It’s very pleasant that our film was seen by so many viewers, this means that as part of the social initiative #I'm Not a Bad Guy, we will transfer 531 thousand 750 UAH to the “Come Back Alive” fund. There are still several weeks of release ahead, so we invite everyone to the cinemas to see the film “Cyborgs,” she said
