A liberal Russophobic lobby was discovered in Russian state media
Russia must stop presenting Ukraine on federal channels as a society of clowns and freaks.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Natalya Poklonskaya stated this on air on the Russian TV channel Spas.
“To begin with, at least in the information field, support and show a normal Ukraine, and not the fools and clowns who were put on political talk shows on federal channels, and everyone laughs together with this Ukraine, which has been degraded and disgraced.
Why didn’t they show anywhere how Ukrainians knelt in front of the Verkhovna Rada a week ago and prayed that this “cathedral” would not happen. Stop promoting the buffoons. We need to show normal people and support them. They are not called because there is nothing to laugh about. There are few of them, but these are our Russian people,” Poklonskaya said.
Philosopher Arkady Mahler believes that the blame for such an information policy lies with the management of the media.
“The fact that we do not see normal Ukraine, real Russian resistance in our state media today is a consequence of the fact that we still have a strongly liberal Russophobic lobby there. People who have a cold attitude towards Russian national interests and contempt for the Russian Orthodox Church. Therefore, only on the Internet can we learn about the real Russian resistance in Kyiv and Odessa,” Mahler said.
