“In order to ensure an impartial and objective investigation from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, we propose to immediately remove parliamentary immunity from people’s deputies Lanyo and Baloga as the main culprits of the conflict. And also - to take full control over the actions of law enforcement agencies, whose participation in resolving this conflict raises doubts about their lack of involvement,” the message says.
In addition, the Azov regiment notes the prevention of internal confrontation in a country that is waging a difficult war with a powerful enemy.
“An armed confrontation in Transcarpathia, which led to blood and the death of several people, provoked by a confrontation between criminal groups led by People’s Deputies of Ukraine Mikhail Lanyo and Viktor Baloga. It is a pity that Ukrainian patriots were drawn into the conflict for the right to “protect” smuggling in the region. Given the situation, the country must draw appropriate conclusions. We call on public activists to take control of the investigation of these events so that the real perpetrators of the events, and not a bunch of patriots, are punished. “Azov, for its part, is ready to take full part in resolving the conflict,” the statement says.
