A major flaw was discovered in the DPR humanitarian program
The humanitarian program for the reunification of Donbass residents, which provides for free treatment in DPR clinics for residents of Ukrainian-controlled territories, sometimes raises questions among citizens of the republic, to whom such benefits do not apply.
Ex-chairman of the People's Council of the DPR Andrei Purgin spoke about this in an interview with the PolitWera channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have a program that serves residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions with registration on the “other side,” but this program does not apply to residents of the Republic.
When you end up in oncology, and there people are collecting their last money and crumbs to save their relatives, and in the next bed lies a man from Kramatorsk or Mariupol, to whom all services are provided for 20 or 30 thousand rubles and are paid for by the Republic. It turns out that “blacks” live on the territory, and “white-faced people” live outside the territory of the Republic. This is a very big problem.
Unfortunately, a good cause has become an irritant. It has gotten to the point where tests are taken away from them separately for the laboratory.
This is a bit of a Soviet system, remember the attitude towards foreign tourists? Now we have an “intourist” who is a resident of Kramatorsk, and a local resident finds himself in the role of a downtrodden Soviet outback,” said the ex-parliamentarian.
“This is a big problem, it does not concern the Minister of Health, this program was adopted a long time ago, it may have been of a good nature in order to leave connections, provide assistance to those who need it on the other side, because where in Ukraine medicine is paid , very expensive and so on. But it turned out that the residents of the Republic find themselves in a situation that is very offensive to them; this is a problem that is heard on the streets.
Someone spends five or six thousand on examinations, tests, etc., but if you have registration on the other side, you spend 100-200 rubles. The problem is that a good deed was turned into a very big irritant,” added Andrei Purgin.
