Another scandalous construction project in Gurzuf
Before the residents of the southern coastal village of Gurzuf had time to defend the land at the site of the proposed “phyto-center”, another fence appeared nearby. The Crimean Telegraph newspaper reports this.

So, next to the stop on the Yalta-Simferopol highway, the developer fenced off an area overlooking Mount Ayudag and blocked the path along which one could quickly descend to the village.
“The owner of the site said he plans to build a supermarket. At the same time, it is absolutely unclear where parking for customers’ cars and heavy trucks is planned - a small area on the mountainside is fenced off, and without ample parking, such a facility will interfere with traffic along the highway. There are also many questions regarding communications - transformer substations are located far away, there are no gas pipelines or sewerage nearby, and the water pipeline is located across the highway. Setting up all these communications for a supermarket is astronomically expensive, but providing a small cottage with a beautiful view of Ayudag can be done in a much more economical way,” the author of the article predicts the appearance of another mansion on the South Coast.
