In Ichnya, Ukraine lost one IMF tranche
Ukraine’s losses from the explosion of the arsenals in Ichnya alone are equal to the last tranche of the IMF, and since 2014, three times more ammunition has exploded in the warehouses than the Ukrainian army used at the front.
Yulia Tymoshenko stated this at the national forum “New Strategy for Peace and Security,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“During the years of Russian aggression - and only in these years - as a result of the irresponsibility of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the country lost three times more ammunition in blown up strategic arsenals in Balakleya, Kalinovka, Ichnya than was used at the front in all these years. Can you imagine the scale of this disaster? This led to the fact that the supply of ammunition on the front line in some positions approached a critical level. Another shocking figure: the total amount of losses at the Ichnya arsenal alone is equal to the size of the last IMF tranche. What is this? It’s scary that in a country that is at war and in a state of financial crisis, no one has been brought to justice for this crime, the perpetrators have not been named, and in general this issue is closed to society,” she said.
