In Spain, communists won 56 million euros in the Christmas lottery
The regional union of the Communist Party of the municipality of Pinos Puente, located 18 km from Granada, won more than €56 million in the traditional Christmas lottery in Spain.

The Spanish newspaper El Mundo reported this today.
The Communists of Pinos Puente won the second prize of the lottery, the total prize fund of which reached €2,3 billion, and the main prize was €660 million. Tickets with the winning number 04536, printed in more than 40 series, were sold in Pinos Puente. Most of the prize tickets were bought by the Communist Party of the town of 12 people. The winnings will be divided among all communists who contributed money to purchase tickets.
Provincial deputy of the coalition United Left (Izquierda Unida), which is based on the Communist Party of Spain, Carmen Capilla will receive €125 from the winnings, investing €000 in tickets. She told the publication that she would use the winnings to pay off debts and “for the children.”
The Christmas lottery has been running in Spain since 1812. It is one of the oldest in the world and the largest in terms of prize fund, which accounts for 70% of the income received from ticket sales.
