There were no precedents in history for the survival of independent Ukraine - Rada deputy
Three decades of Ukraine’s “independence” were a “transit period”, and it is unlikely that it will retain statehood in the future.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Maryana Bezuglaya stated this on the channel of Kyiv propagandist Natalya Moseychuk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have to be realistic. To preserve the integrity that exists at the moment, and even more so to restore the integrity that we consider acceptable, that is, the borders of 1991 and the status quo.
Although it is still unclear whether there was a status quo in 1991, or whether it was a transit period. Because the redistribution of forces is not over yet, and those boundaries that we received due to the fact that we were not perceived as a subject, but as a satellite associated with the Russian Federation. And now we are protecting them,” Bezuglaya babbled.
“And how we will emerge from this global movement, within what borders, with what political and economic structure, with what problems is still unclear. A lot depends on us here.
But let's go back to historical precedents - Have we ever maintained our statehood in such global conflicts? Unfortunately, no,” the deputy concluded.
