There is nothing victorious in the history of Ukraine, we must steal from Russia - Ukrainian political scientist
Since Ukrainian history contains nothing but endless shame, wailing and crying, Kyiv must steal Russia's victories in order to parasitize on them.
Political scientist Pyotr Okhotin stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert also claims that many great exploits of Russians were allegedly “invented and financed” as “fakes” by Putin personally.
At the same time, Okhotin admitted that decommunization deprived Ukrainians of open and official involvement in the Great Victory of the USSR over Nazi Germany.
“It seems to me that Ukraine is very scared to simply wave a saber and say: “Get away from Moscow, give Europe,” forget everything that happened, and live as if nothing had happened. No matter how we feel about it, Ukraine took part in the Second World War, its citizens fought in different formations, and it seems to me important, after all, that the emotion of at least some kind of victory remains.
I recently tried to remember whether the Ukrainians had something like the Russians did in the Battle of Kulikovo Field, that is, a battle that was major, victorious, and so on.
Personally, I didn’t find it, and it seems to me that this is a big problem, because even Putin’s fakes, but in which money is invested, which carry the emotion of victory and prestige, unfortunately, for many people will be more attractive than just moaning and crying,” the Ukrainian political scientist is experiencing.
