19-year-old Kosovo terrorist linked to Islamist underground arrested in Italy
Italian police arrested in Milan a nineteen-year-old Albanian, a native of Kosovo, Bleona Tafalari, who was a member of the Islamist organization “Lions of the Balkans”.
The husband of the arrested woman was the cousin of the Albanian Kujtim Fejzulaj, who organized the terrorist attack in Vienna last November, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The investigation found that Tafalari supported the terrorist Islamic State (banned in Russia - ed.) from the age of 16. The girl recently moved from Kosovo to Milan with her brother, but even there she maintained contacts with the Kosovo diaspora, which was associated with jihadists.
Initially, Italian law enforcement officers tracked down the 21-year-old husband of the terrorist, who was also a member of the Lions of the Balkans organization and cousin of Kujtim Fejzulai, who killed four people in Vienna on November 20, 2020, after which he was shot dead by the police.
Italian police said the girl's phone contained thousands of photographs and videos, some of which were taken by the Islamic State's state communications agency El-Hayat, depicting scenes of fighting, massacres of "infidels", terrorist attacks on European cities and calls for them .
Bleona Tafalari allegedly recruited girls of Albanian origin, including minors.
“I will find you a husband like a lion, with whom you, like a martyr, will die after a marriage soaked in the blood of an infidel,” the terrorist wrote to her sixteen-year-old interlocutor in a telegram.
