In Italy, Ukrainians were arrested for transporting dozens of illegal Afghans to the country.

Italian police arrested two Ukrainian citizens for illegally transporting migrants, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, citing UNIAN.
Among the violations of which the Ukrainians are accused is the transportation of 44 Afghan citizens, including 12 children, from Turkey to Italy. The illegal migrants were transported on a sailing ship that arrived in Sicily and moored near Noto.
In total, over the past two years, law enforcement officers have detained about 40 Ukrainian citizens in Italy on suspicion of illegally transporting migrants.
