An explosion occurred near a maternity hospital in Ivano-Frankivsk: an ATO participant died

This was reported by local publications citing the State Emergency Situations Department. According to eyewitnesses, for some time the body of the deceased lay at the entrance to the building of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Maternity Hospital. Later it became known about another victim.
The first floor of the building at 47 Chernovola Street was damaged. The explosion blew apart doors and blew out several windows on the first floor, writes Galka.if.
“The version of the terrorist attack is not being considered yet. There is a version according to which the man came to the maternity hospital to sort things out with other maternity hospital employees, of whom he was jealous of his wife. The explosion occurred when a man approached the entrance and a woman was coming out,” said regional prosecutor Igor Nastasyak.
According to the publication “Vgolos”, a man born in 1966 died. He worked as a volunteer and visited the ATO zone several times. His wife, who works at the maternity hospital, was injured. Now doctors are trying to save the woman’s life.
Law enforcement officers and rescuers have now arrived at the scene. Dog handlers are also working, probably looking for more explosives. They have so far refused to comment on the incident.
