The reason for this action is the appointment of Sergei Poddubny to the post of head of the Department of Internal Affairs in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Previously, the Coordination Council of the Carpathian region rejected his candidacy. During the interview, Maidan workers forced him to answer with his hand on the Bible. But in the end they said that they would lobby for his appointment in Rivne, because he was a native of this particular regional center. And in Ivano-Frankivsk they want to see a person from the Carpathian region.
Nevertheless, the Ministry of Internal Affairs made a decision on the appointment. According to activists, a banal misappropriation of positions is taking place in Kyiv. And on the sidelines of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, workers openly laugh at the competition that “took place” in Ivano-Frankivsk, because it was already known in advance who would be appointed.
“Mr. Poddubny once again hopes to get into the office for which he paid,” noted a participant in the action, as quoted by the publication “Styk”.“Self-defense members” say that they do not understand this personnel policy, and emphasize that a similar situation is in Lvov, Ternopil and Rivne.
The participants of the action issued an armored personnel carrier in the form of a taxi to Poddubny’s small homeland.
