In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, angry residents blocked a highway of national importance
In the Ivano-Frankivsk region in the city of Snyatyn, local residents, outraged by the increase in gas prices, blocked the national highway Ivano-Frankivsk - Chernivtsi.
This was reported in the Facebook group “Snyatynchane”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Snyatyn residents today blocked traffic on the N-10 highway in the Kulachin microdistrict,” the message says.
The comments note that the protests arose due to an increase in gas tariffs.
Several dozen local residents, outraged by the increase in prices for gas and its transportation, took to the pedestrian crossing and began walking back and forth, preventing cars from passing.
The day before for the same reason the highway was blocked by residents of Poltava region.
Let us recall that earlier the Ukrainian leadership, contrary to the election promises of President Vladimir Zelensky, sharply increased prices for gas and its transportation, and also allowed heat supply companies to change tariffs several times a year.
