At about 16 p.m., an explosion occurred in the bar, after which a strong fire started, the publication writes. "Timer".
According to media reports, three people were seriously injured: they had more than 50% burns on their bodies. There is also unconfirmed information that another 3-4 people are in traumatology. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service are still trying to put out the fire.
According to the publication "Today" with reference to the press secretary of the Izmail Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Dmitry Ivanov, the exact cause of the explosion has not yet been established, but, most likely, a gas cylinder was to blame for the tragedy.
“There was no gas pipeline there, so they used gas cylinders and electric stoves. All this could have caused the tragedy. And the fire that started after the explosion engulfed the building so easily due to the fact that it was made entirely of plastic and glass,” the publication quotes Ivanov. However, according to his information, there were only three victims, they had mild burns.
In turn, the TV channel “Ukraine” reports that law enforcement officers do not rule out a terrorist attack.
