“I personally don’t believe that the Ukrainian military is capable of quickly changing the army today. This can be done in the shortest possible time only in conditions of large-scale practical interaction with the best armies of the world. For example, British, American, and military personnel from other powerful armies should be invited so that they receive the functions of advisers with expanded powers (so that in some cases they perform the functions of commanders). So that planning goes according to their plan. This is the only way - if we want it quickly. Yes, this is a certain loss of independence - and this is a problem, probably, in a certain sense. But again, you have to choose what is more important at this stage,” Ariely said.
