According to law enforcement officers, the man was found with a Makarov pistol, 2 magazines with 16 rounds of 9 mm ammunition, an AKS-74U assault rifle and a bayonet for it, 212 rounds of 5,45 mm caliber.
Later it turned out that the 40-year-old man is a resident of the Zhytomyr region. According to him, he was going on vacation from the ATO zone, and decided to take weapons and ammunition with him.
Law enforcement officers have launched criminal proceedings into the detention of a serviceman who is suspected of theft and embezzlement of weapons and ammunition.
As Navigator reported, earlier in Zaporozhye there was an explosion in a residential multi-storey building: a soldier brought home a grenade launcher from the ATO zone, and his younger brother “played” with the weapon.
