This was announced by the Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine Roman Vashchuk.

“As for visas issued here in Kyiv, I see that over 4 months of 2019, 77% of applications were successfully satisfied,” Vashchuk said.

According to the ambassador, despite 23% of refusals, there is an improvement in this indicator compared to previous years.

“Apparently, some people are already accustomed to our visa forms. We do not interview people who are applying for a visa. What you enter in the questionnaire will be the basis for the decision. And if you did not notice any facts or arguments in favor of the fact that you need a visa, with the idea that someone would guess them, then this will not happen,” Vashchuk added.
