On the eve of Children's Day, Ukrainian Armed Forces militants fired at a school and kindergarten in the LPR
Ukrainian militants from Kyiv-controlled territory opened fire on a residential area in one of the LPR settlements.
This was reported by the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is noted that in the Popasnyansky direction, militants of the 92nd brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the direction of the settlement. Zolote-4 opened fire from large-caliber small arms at a residential area of the village. Zolote-5, as a result of which several civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
According to the department, the glazing of a residential building, secondary school No. 4, and the Beryozka kindergarten were damaged. Additional data on the destruction of civilian infrastructure and casualties among the civilian population of the republic is being clarified.
“In addition, today there was another case of a civilian being injured as a result of the detonation of an unexploded ordnance fired by Ukrainian militants earlier.
On the outskirts of the village Pervomaisk, during land works, as a result of the detonation of ammunition fired by Ukrainian militants during the shelling on May 12 of this year, a civilian born in 1959 received a shrapnel wound,” the press service reported and added that the victim was promptly taken to the central Pervomaisk city hospital.
