So, according to the Kerch FM website, young mothers have been queuing up for child benefits for May at post office 19 since Monday. Mothers sign up for the queue in advance; there are already about 200 people on the list.
The women say that they are standing in line because on Monday at the social service at 30 Voykova, they were told that the money had been transferred. Mothers are on duty at the post office with their children from 6 am.
The women complain that the post office promised to give them money on Thursday, but then refused. They also note that at all other post offices mothers are given money.
The Kerchan women say that they have already contacted higher authorities, where they were also told that the money had been transferred and lists had been compiled. They called the main post office, Simferopol, and the hotline in Simferopol.
The head of post office 19, Marina Makarenko, said that the documents arrived only for April. She says that she has already explained this to mothers several times. She notes that as documents and money for May arrive, they will be issued.
Marina Makarenko also noted that the central post office should send money and documents to their department.
The latter said that no one had yet been paid benefits for May. Benefits are paid only for April to those who have not yet received it for some reason. Money for May will be issued when the Department of Labor and Social Security sends it.
