A local resident who called for killing Russian soldiers was convicted in Kerch
A 48-year-old resident of Kerch was found guilty of public calls on the Internet to carry out extremist activities.
This was reported by the Russian FSB Directorate for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It was established that the accused published comments on his personal page on the Odnoklassniki social network containing calls for the murder of servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces.
Criminal cases have been initiated against him based on crimes under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls made using the media or information and telecommunication networks, including the Internet - ed.).
The Kerch City Court of the Republic of Crimea found the defendant guilty of the crimes charged to him and sentenced him to a suspended sentence of 1 year and 6 months of imprisonment. Also, for 1,5 years, he is prohibited from engaging in activities related to posting materials on public information and communication networks.
