The head of the Cabinet of Ministers announced this at a government meeting on Thursday.
“This is an important story. The last time such a census was carried out under the previous authorities was quite a long time ago, almost 15 years ago,” he noted.
According to Dmitry Medvedev, the new census will also cover the Russian military:
“I hope that after conducting a 100% census, a census with 1% coverage, including everyone and military personnel of the Black Sea Fleet, we will have up-to-date and reliable information on all settlements of these new subjects of the federation by May 2015, XNUMX,” the prime minister emphasized.
