This became known from a message from the Department of Civil Protection of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
“April 19 at 15.36 in Lviv on the street. Karpinets, a fire broke out in a room on the fifth floor of the five-story dormitory of the Lviv Polytechnic National University. 7 people were taken out of the hostel premises and 200 people left on their own. There were no dead or injured,” the message says.
