“As far as I know, these are real partisans,” he said.
“I wish you perseverance and take care of yourself. I believe that the current turmoil in Ukraine is far from over. It will take many, many lifetimes to overcome it. It is advisable to save these lives,” the commander added.
When asked by a journalist what methods Strelkov would propose to combat the spread of the ideology of far-right nationalism in Ukraine, he said: “Turn off the television.”
