The pickup truck was set on fire at dawn: by the time the fire brigade arrived, the engine compartment of the car had burned to the ground.
Ukrainian volunteers believe that the car did not catch fire by accident, but that it was set on fire by saboteurs.
“I think, most likely, they poured some kind of liquid under the hood and set it on fire. The fire started from the left headlight and was directed towards the interior,” said “Eastern Corps” volunteer Peter “Ukrainets”.
The car was purchased by volunteers abroad, converted and camouflaged. The donors have not yet managed to insure the car.
