About it reported on his Facebook page Director of the Department of Information and Public Relations in the Kharkov City Council Yuriy Sidorenko.
He wrote that today, September 14, at school 69 in Kharkov, where only grades 5-11 are taught, out of 290 students, about a third of the schoolchildren did not show up for lessons.
“Among those who came, many sought medical help with the same symptoms - nausea. Along with the children, some teachers and parents also complain about poor health,” Sidorenko said.
He clarified that at the moment, of all those who sought medical help, only 50 people ate in the school cafeteria yesterday.
Doctors' preliminary diagnosis is rotavirus or enterovirus; they will tell you more precisely when the test results come back. The school is now closed for quarantine to improve the epidemiological situation.
