Law enforcement officers forced the demonstrators out of the first floor hall and onto the street. This was accompanied by clashes with the use of batons and stun grenades; there were wounded.

In response, Russian supporters set fire to a barricade that was erected opposite the main entrance to the Regional State Administration. The fire partially spread to the regional administration building itself. The demonstrators also threw Molotov cocktails towards the law enforcement officers.
Protesters are blocking fire trucks that could put out the fire in the administrative building.
According to pro-Russian activists, the police arrived from Poltava to carry out the assault. The Kharkov police stood aside for some time and did not interfere. However, soon she also began to push people away from the House of Soviets, and the burning barricades were extinguished.
However, after some time the police moved away from the entrance to the building, pro-Russian activists again appeared in the windows of the regional council, and Russian flags were hung from one of the floors. There are wounded in the Regional State Administration - some have broken ribs and pierced heads.
