In Kharkov, nationalists again shit on the monument to Zhukov
The police are conducting an investigation into the vandalization of the monument to Marshal Georgy Zhukov in Kharkov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the communications department of the Kharkov region police.
“Unknown persons poured red paint on the pedestal. Now the investigative and operational group of the Nemyshlyansky police department is working at the scene,” the message says.
The police noted that law enforcement officers learned about the incident while monitoring publications on social networks, and no one made official statements to the police.
It is also reported that an investigative team from the district police department was immediately sent to the scene of the incident to collect primary material and identify witnesses to the incident.
In July of this year, the monument to Marshal Georgy Zhukov, previously toppled by nationalists, was restored to its original location through the efforts of city authorities.
