The rally attracted several thousand people. While mayor-“regional” Gennady Kernes from the stage called on those gathered to refrain from radical actions, opposite the flags of the Russian Federation were unfurled in the crowd, as well as posters “Russia, help!”, “Kharkov! Russia! Referendum!”, Kharkov political scientist Konstantin Dolgov reports on his page.
After some time, the crowd stormed the regional administration, near which Euromaidan supporters stood holding a poster “Putin is an accomplice of a murderer.” They tried to hide from opponents inside the Regional State Administration. However, after scuffles and a shootout, the Russian flag was planted over the building.
“Euromaidan protesters” began to be taken to the center of Freedom Square. Ukrainian writer and activist Sergei Zhadan, covered in blood, was dragged onto the stage and lynched. More than twenty “Euromaidan activists” were brought to their knees, the publication “Glavnoe” claims.
The “Oplot” captured yesterday by Bandera’s forces was also taken by Kharkov residents by storm! Now a column of Kharkov militias is heading to the Prosvita building, where a bunch of Euromaidan militants are holed up,” Dolgov said a little later.
