“At 00.15 a charter flight arrived from Moscow to Kharkov. While going through passport border control, Mikhail Dobkin and his guard Roman Kopylov were stopped by a border service officer,” he wrote.
According to Avakov, after checking the documents, the border guard turned to Dobkin: “Wait a minute, we need to clarify something.”
“In response, Dobkin, accompanied by a security guard, abandoned his passports, without commenting on his actions in any way, without permission, ran through the border guard checkpoint, hastily got into the car and disappeared in an unknown direction,” the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.
Based on the violation of a number of laws of Ukraine, the border service, the SBU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs began a search for the ex-governor, who came to the prosecutor’s office in the afternoon.
