“After the events of the “Russian Spring”, more than 300 Kharkov residents ended up in the dungeons of both the Kharkov SBU and the Kharkov pre-trial detention center. At the moment, some have been released on bail, under subscription. Unfortunately, some cooperated with the investigation and received suspended sentences. More than 100 people still remain in pretrial detention. The Kharkov SBU still holds more than 30 people in its internal prison. These people are not registered, they are there illegally and are hiding from all representatives of international organizations,” Aleksandrovsky said.
