According to the official, the refusal to accept displaced persons is a forced measure that will contribute to their better placement in other areas. In addition, the region’s priority task now is to resettle people in heated premises.
According to Georgievsky, as of September 18, the database included data on 80 thousand 172 people from Donbass and another 841 people from Crimea. Of this number, 18 thousand 612 displaced persons received temporary housing through the headquarters.
In addition, about 1,4 million UAH are still needed. to provide for disabled and elderly people who were transported to regional boarding schools. At the moment there are 117 people here.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in Zaporozhye the authorities turned to the UN Mission with a request to allocate funds to prepare housing for displaced people during the cold period.
