As reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kharkov region, on December 2 at 02:30, the Kiev regional police department received a message from the duty officer of military unit 3017 of the National Guard of Ukraine that an explosion had occurred at a non-working gate. Law enforcement officers, an investigative team, explosives experts, representatives of the prosecutor's office, the Security Service of Ukraine, a canine service, rescuers and doctors went to the indicated address.
Material evidence was confiscated from the scene of the incident. The police are now identifying those involved in the explosion.
The police opened criminal proceedings into damage to property due to the night explosion. “As a result of the night incident, no civilians or military personnel were injured. Based on the fact of intentional damage to property, investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, punishable by 10 years in prison,” the law enforcement agency said in a statement.
As PolitNavigator reported, on the night of November 25 around midnight, an explosion was also heard in Kharkov near a military unit on Cold Mountain. There are no injuries. As a result, the fence of the military unit and a nearby machine are damaged. The windows in the neighboring five-story building were knocked out by a blast wave. Note that from November 30 to December 1, an explosion occurred in the military enlistment office of Ilyichevsk.
