About it Kharkov TV channel ATN reports.
Deputy regional military commissar Yuri Kalgushkin speaks about the reasons for the failure of the mobilization plan.
“The resource of those liable for military service becomes smaller with each partial mobilization, this is the main thing. Well, the specificity of the Kharkov region is that it is a front-line region, after all, there is information influence from the Russian Federation, pro-Russian citizens who are located in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions, no matter how the military registration and enlistment office employees carry out their work,” he says .
The ATN story notes that by the end of the next, sixth wave of mobilization, Kharkov military commissars want to reach the plan to at least 50 percent.
They have a little more than a week left to do this - the mobilization period ends on August 18.
According to the regional media center of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, as of August 6, the district military registration and enlistment offices of the Kharkov region completed only 35% of the plan for the sixth stage of mobilization.
According to the Kharkov website “Glavnoe”, One of the possible reasons for the failure of mobilization in Kharkov may be that, starting from June of this year, employees of Kharkov military registration and enlistment offices have been organizing street raids, during which, against the will of Kharkov residents, they are forcibly taken - without police officers - to military registration and enlistment offices, where they are forced - contrary to the law - to undergo a medical examination , and are forcibly sent to the training centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Human rights activists classify such actions by military registration and enlistment office employees as a criminal offense - the abduction and forcible detention of a person.
