The court's decision has already been mentioned in the Verkhovna Rada hall, where the meeting is taking place. Presenter Alexander Turchinov said that he considers the court's decision justified. “They stormed, threw grenades at law enforcement officers,” Turchynov said about the detained activists.
As Navigator reported, on April 8, during the operation to liberate the Regional State Administration, law enforcement officers detained 65 people. On the same day, all of them were given written notices of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 294 (mass riots) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Yesterday in Kharkov, a mass picket was held near the court building demanding the release of the detainees. The hearing of the cases was postponed until today.
