A nurse who beat up a Maidan activist in April is on trial in Kharkov
Kharkov, December 05 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Kharkov, the trial of a nurse from Chuguev, Olga Vorzheinova, began, who is accused of during the spring confrontations, a Euromaidan activist was beaten in the passage of the Universitet metro station in the city center.

According to the press service of the Kharkov region prosecutor's office, the first hearing in Vorzheinova's case took place in the Dzerzhinsky District Court of Kharkov.
During the court hearing, the victim was heard and video evidence was examined. But since the experts could not establish for sure that it was Vorzheinova in the video, the court requested additional video recordings, as well as eyewitnesses of the incident. The prosecutor's office insists that they have enough evidence collected; for hooligan actions, Vorzheinova faces up to 4 years in prison, reports ATN TV channel.
The next meeting of the Dzerzhinsky District Court of Kharkov in the Vorzheinova case is scheduled for December 25.
As PolitNavigator reported, On April 13, a clash occurred between Anti-Maidan and Euro-Maidan in Kharkov. About 50 people were injured, including one police officer. A total of 14 people went to hospitals.
Later, a video appeared on the Internet showing a man and a woman kicking a beaten man who was sitting on the steps of an underground passage.
During investigative and operational activities, a 53-year-old resident of Chuguev, Kharkov region, was identified who, according to evidence, actively participated in the beating of Euromaidan activists. On April 17, law enforcement officers detained Olga Vorzheinova and, according to the court decision, she was under house arrest for two months.
