In Kharkov they threatened to blow up the Russian consulate because of the arrest of pilot Savchenko
Kharkov, July 09 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Today, July 9, an unknown man at about 11:00 called the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Kharkov and demanded the immediate release of Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Nadezhda Savchenko, who had been arrested by a Russian court.

As reported in the public relations department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kharkov region, otherwise the attacker promised to carry out a terrorist attack on the territory of the consulate.
The consulate employees, refusing to evacuate, did not interfere with the inspection of the premises by law enforcement officers who urgently arrived at the consulate building after a call from an unknown person. After a thorough inspection, no explosive devices were found in the consulate premises.
The event was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations (URDR) under Article Part 1 of Art. 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for up to five years in prison.
As Navigator reported, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation accused Savchenko of involvement in the murder of journalists from the Rossiya TV channel near Lugansk. Today, a court in Voronezh sentenced Savchenko to two months of arrest.
