This was reported by the Ukrainian resource NewsRoom with reference to a source in local law enforcement agencies, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The explosion occurred at 6:30 Kyiv time in the courtyard of house No. 15 on Kultury Street. There were no casualties as a result of the explosion, but several cars and the garage door were hit by shrapnel.
Four F-1 grenades were reportedly planted under the Dodge SUV. For some reason, one of the grenades, located under the front wheel, detonated earlier. The remaining three were neutralized by explosives technicians who responded to the call.
“Judging by the amount of explosives, it’s unlikely they just wanted to scare him,” the source said.
Let us recall that earlier Azov militants accused Cheremukhin of shelling the car of the leader of the Civil Corps, Oleg Shiryaev, calling the high-ranking policeman a “werewolf in uniform” and accusing him of serving “criminal authorities.”
